Fun fact: The golden applique on the shirt resembles the length of his haircut before he became a mortal. Surprisingly I wanted his hair to be short(er) simply for aesthetics. The piercings were a non-negotiable.

I created a mini recreation of the shading system with the different hex codes for cloth, leather and metal etc. in Photoshop to simply test how it would look. It also works on all other parts of the outfit, the Gambeson simply steals the show.

SARDON - Gambeson breakdown (Cinematic Character Art)

Hi! I'm Eva, a 3D Character Artist - I am open to new job opportunities and career advancements!
This is the *camp outfit* for my Character Sardon. He is a King, a fallen god and a fashion icon.

The outfit has 3 states:
- Shirt (combined 21,3k tri)
- Shirt + Gambeson bodice (combined 30k tri)
- Full + Gambeson bodice + Sleeves (combined 40,7k)

Personally, I prefer the second option the most.

The textures are directly inspired by Baldur's Gate 3, utilising MSK, PM and BMA maps to quickly change colours with the in-game dye.
